Book Critic: BRIDA

One of my favourite quote is from the Game of Thrones's writer George R.R. Martin is: “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.”
Reading books is really important to broaden our perspectives and take the inspiration which we really need to make our lives more meaningful.
My latest book discovery is Brida from Paulo Coelho.
And it really inspired me in too many ways.
If I need to mention about the main topic and main them, the book is about a gifted girl whose name is Brida. Actually Brida has an ordinary life. A job, a boyfriend, school... Until she meets with Magus.
I don't want to give you too much spoilers and details, but in the book there are too many beautiful and meaningful messages that writer wants to give us. Some of them are below:
“Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong, my dear," said her father looking at the clock. "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day”
“But how will I know who my Soulmate is?” Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life. By taking risks’ she said to Brida. ‘ By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in you search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.”
“People give flowers as present because flowers contain true meaning of love. Anyone who tries to posses a flower will have to watch its beauty fading. But if you simply look at a flower in the field, you'll keep it forever.
That is what the forest taught me. That you will never be mine, and that is why i will never lose you.”

“When you’re in love, you’re capable of learning everything and knowing things you had never dared even to think, because love is the key to understanding of all the the mysteries.”
“You must be careful never to allow doubt to paralyze you. always take the decisions you need to take, even if you're not sure you're doing the right thing. You'll never go wrong if, when you make a decision, you keep in mind an old German proverb: 'The devil is in the detail.' Remember that proverb and you'll always be able to turn a wrong decision into a right one.”
“Most important and most vulnerable of human emotions; Love.”
“It was a mistake that set the world in motion. Never be afraid of making a mistake.”
“For a moment, he thought: "I could give up magic for her," but immediately realized how foolish that thought was. Love didn't require that kind of renunciation. True love allowed each person to follow their own path, knowing that they would never lose touch with their Soul Mate.”
Stay with joy and inspiration.
